Day Out in Dublin

If you follow me on my various social media platforms then you will already be aware of the #ArcadiaOnTour event I trotted along to at the start of April (overdue, I know I know). I never usually go to blog events because I never know anyone, they can be kind of awkward and I'm awkward so I kind of give them a miss and yano they're usually in Dublin too, which is a two hour train ride away but ahh they always look like fun.....I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone a little bit more so I decided that for once, I would accept an invitation and off I went (my friend Ellie in tow) to the Morgan hotel in Dublin to see what Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Evans all had on display for Summer 2015.

Let me tell you, just in case the pics didn't get the message across - there's a lot of fantastic pieces on the way into stores. Small lace details, 70s inspired flares and suede waistcoats and shorts, topaz necklaces, funky sunglasses and dungarees. Yes dungarees. I now have a wishlist like I've never had before.
It was a fun event and it was great seeing the clothes before they've even come out yet, it was a little  'here is where your money is going to go in a few weeks Jess'. Dorothy Perkins is where it's going!
I even put together a small little vlog if you want to check it out below. It's a little rough, I was trying to get a handle of my new camera but I'm thinking of doing something similar for my trip to NYC :).
My dress in the pic is from Missguided - you can see it better in the video.

wagamama dublin
After feasting our eyes on the latest fashions, it was time for a feed so we sealed it all off with a trip to Wagamama. I dunno what we ended up ordering, it was two weeks ago but my friend Ellie ordered what was in the picture and doesn't it make you drool? We wanted to go to Cornucopia, but it was mad busy so we settled for Wagamama instead. We hit the shops after too and bought a few sneaky bits from MAC and Lush, #TreatYoSelf and all that. Actually, I need to stop living by that motto, it's going to have me broke in no time.
What trends are you most looking forward to this Summer? I dunno about you but I'm looking forward to lots of lace and suede. Comment below with your thoughts yo.
