#SummerOOTD

Oh man the weather right now is insane. Gotta love these mini Irish heat waves.
I underestimated just how warm it was yesterday when I popped into town for lunch with the girls. Really could have done without the tights. You can barely make them out cause they're black but I'm wearing these super cute black crochet shorts from Forever21. I am all about the crochet right now. It makes me feel like I should be in Cali with froyo and drinking kale smoothies. I desire nothing more than a J1 right now. If you're on a J1 in California right now - I hate you :( I just really want peanut butter pop tarts okay.
My top is Penneys/Primark. My headband is an old one from New Look and my bag is Michael Kors. It's really hard to make out in these pictures but my ombre is like this weird pinky color right now. I put in some lavender and burgundy crazy colors and they did not last well at all. Waiting for the last of this to fade out so I can throw on some more blonde. After all the complaining I did about it, I eh actually kind of miss. I dunno it gave my hair that extra bit of some some you know what I mean?
Hope you're all enjoying the sun and don't forget your sunscreen. Nobody loves a lobster.

Essie - Watermelon

I'm sure by now you're all well aware of how much I LOVE Essie nail polish and ever since Cara Pharmacy added some to their 3€ bargain bin I've gone a little overboard.
I picked up this shade 'watermelon' for 3€ and it's rapidly becoming my favourite shade for summer. It's so vibrant and fun.
Not to forget how easy it applies. Two coats and you get perfect opaqueness. You could get away with one coat if you really wanted to but I'm a creature of habit and always go for that second coat.....you know - just to be sure.
The longest wear I've got out of this polish is four days before any chippage which is pretty awesome considering how much I do throughout my day.
I'm halfway through the bottle already and I only picked it up a few months ago.
I know sometimes Essie can be pretty expensive (9€ on my local stand) but they're well worth the price if you're looking for a long lasting and durable nail polish to get you through your busy week.
